Meeting Description
Following the success of LINEE Training Institutes in Brussels (2007), Bolzano (2008) and Prague (2009, 2010 and 2011), doctoral students researching various aspects of multilingualism in Europe will once again meet for the exchange of ideas and training. They will be provided with the opportunity for interaction with renowned resource persons, both local and from abroad, in a number of different settings (lecture and seminar settings, poster sessions, informal encounters, meals). Prague, a city known in particular for its aesthetic value, has been a symbol of intellectual and cultural engagement and language studies for decades. Since 1989, it has been gradually developing into a site of emerging multilingualism, the experience of which participants in the Training Institute are invited to share.
Thematic Areas
